Loved the vintage, arty feel of the restored hotel. Great location for funky Queen West/Ossington strip. Hotel has a great vibe to it. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is reasonably priced (room, food, parking) and offers a unique experience.

The service was really great, the staff were very helpful and exceptionally attentive. Besides, the location was amazing and fab for our stay, within 15 minutes' walk of Lamport Stadium. The hotel was in an interesting area.

Ease and simplicity, friendly, helpful and colorful staff and clientel, cultural activity - art and music, designer rooms, access to public transportation
"Sugarbush" was a little confining for two big men, but we enjoyed it very much!

Beautiful art, Unique architectural details, Funky atmosphere
The price doubles on weekends, which really takes a toll on your wallet!!! The showers drain poorly, leaving you with a wet bathroom floor every time you use them!!! Plus, the surrounding area has extensive graffiti and homeless folks nearby, quite off-putting!!!

The staff was great! Very accomodating.
Each room is designed by a different artist. Which means that the first room you see may not be anything like what you want your hotel room to look like... The first room we were given had a jarring, uncomfortable, not-relaxing design. Maybe good for some, not so good for us. But the staff quickly gave us different options and our next room was lovely and peaceful.

The Studio King room was spacious and comfortable, with two large windows that filled the space with light. The decor was charming and had a unique character. The kids loved exploring the art throughout the hotel. Plus, we appreciated the friendly staff's tips on family-friendly activities nearby.

Really cute chic room, super helpful staff, fantastic location right in the centre of all the action, non touristy area so you get to enjoy the local flavours, beautiful design of the hotel. Very comfortable bed. Good brunch
Very over priced for what you get, room was small and had tiny bathroom (which was to be honest expected) with shower only, room had heavy smell of cigar smoke (very clean otherwise). As long as you know what you are signing up for (which we did) you will enjoy your stay.

The fact that it was full of young people, artists, exhibits - and that I was able to dance until 3 am.
Everything was fine, how about putting up some free coffee?

The Gladstone Hotel looks funky and interesting. It is the opposite of a Holiday Inn which is what I was looking for.
It is slightly too far out of the centre of town - I needed a taxi or the street car to get there and back each time I went out. It is noisy - they kindly provide ear plugs! My room (Puzzle) was small with a tiny shower.
